HAPPINESS COMIX #3
A great package arriving at the best and worst of times. On the one hand, I read it while I should’ve been writing a paper that is due tomorrow (distracting). On the other hand, it’s Happiness Comix #3 and I’ve been waiting patiently and excitedly for it. Sweet publication @ spithouse.

YAY!!! They finally came and I forgot to check the mail all day!! This is the Happiness Comix stuff I found thanks to tumblr. Look! I even got a home made magnet and a sticker! It was hard to wait, but in the end, I have no problem with how long it took to arrive because this is DIY, unique, and just oozes passion about comix and support of underground art and the artists themselves. fux yea ♥ ♥ ♥

I didn't realise how thick it was gonna be but it's pretty impressive. sure it said 100+ pages but that doesn't equate to much in my mind. I haven't listened to the mixtape yet. I'm making a tape player in tech at the moment though and that'll be finished in a monthish so i'll christen it with your mixtape. anyway thanks lots for the book and goodies!! keep on making rad stuff (in your free time of course)!

I just got in the mail some copies of the third issue of Happiness Comix, edited by Leah Wishnia. I have to say this is my favorite issue, even tho I’m not into contemporary art, the edition looks good with the color spreads and the flip idea is cool too. I like the printing quality and the new features like “happiness recommends” in which is “Zona Marginal” a zine I made last year with some of my first comics in life.
I love the whole book, and my favorite comic is “Wool” by Alabaster.

Got my copy of Happiness 3 in the mail!!!! It’s def the best issue so far.. the printing is pretty nice and it even has a fancy color section with abstract art.
The comics were good too.. my favorites were by Garrett Young, Alabaster, Renata Gąsiorowska and Aaron shunga.I submitted this 3 page teaser from Lapsos I-I because at the time Leah invited me to contribute it was the only thing I could think about.. wait actually I still think a lot about it.. gotta get started drawing the second issue!!!
